Hey builder,
This is the first AIBuildersUse email. It's short: what's new on the site, what changed in pricing, and one stack worth stealing.
New on the site this week
v0 vs Bolt.new: Bolt is the cheaper all-in-one for a solo builder ($25/mo Pro with a built-in database, hosting, and iOS/Android apps through Expo). v0 wins when you want a Next.js codebase on Vercel, shipped through GitHub pull requests.
Codex vs Claude Code: both start at $20/mo. Codex has an open-source (Apache-2.0) CLI and a limited free tier; Claude Code doesn't have a free tier. Codex also enters our coding agents ranking at #3.
Supabase vs Firebase: what the free plans actually include, and which AI app builders connect to each.
Clerk vs Supabase Auth: Clerk Hobby is 50K MRU free (MFA on Pro $25/mo). Supabase Auth is 50K MAU free, then Pro $25/mo with 100K MAU included.
Replit vs Lovable: Replit Core $20/mo ships native iOS + Android; Lovable Pro from $25/mo with Git sync on every plan including Free.
Best AI tool for landing pages: Framer for a marketing page you'll keep polishing, v0 for Next.js on Vercel, Lovable when the page fronts a full app, Bolt for free hosting, and Cursor for your own repo.
Cursor vs Claude Code for teams: Claude Team Standard seats are $25/mo ($20 billed annually) with Claude Code included. Cursor Teams seats are $30, $100 or $200/mo, and Claude models in Cursor bill extra at API list price. SCIM and audit logs are Enterprise-only on both.
AI Stack Picker: answer 3 questions and get one tool per layer, with a monthly cost estimate. Free, and no signup.
ChatGPT price refresh: /tools/chatgpt now shows verified prices: Free, Go $8/mo, Plus $20/mo, Pro from $100/mo.
